Application Guide

How to Apply

Follow these steps for a structurally sound, professional grout application every time.

Surface Preparation

Clean the surface thoroughly — free of dust, demoulding agents, oil, and paint. Dampen the area with water 24 hours before grouting. Surface must be damp but free of standing water. Ensure form work is leak proof.

Mixing & Placing

Mix 4–4.5 litres of water per 20 kg powder for a minimum of 5 minutes to achieve a smooth, lump-free consistency. Pour grout continuously to avoid air pockets. For thick consistency use 3.5–4 L; for dry packs 2.5–3 L.

Curing & Finishing

After placement, keep the grout surface moist. Remove formwork only after adequate strength is achieved. Clean all tools immediately with water before the grout sets.

Health, Safety & Storage

As with all construction chemical products, exercise caution during handling and application.

Protective Equipment

Wear appropriate protective clothing including gloves and goggles during mixing and application to avoid skin and eye contact.

Splash Treatment

Treat any splashes to the skin or eyes immediately with fresh water. Seek medical assistance if irritation persists after flushing.

Accidental Ingestion

If accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call for medical assistance immediately and inform them of the product used.

Storage Conditions

Store under cover, out of direct sunlight away from extreme temperatures. In tropical climates, store in an air-conditioned environment.

Tool Cleaning: All tools and equipment must be cleaned with water immediately after use, before the grout sets. Hardened grout can only be removed mechanically.
